I've been dreaming about decorating a girl nursery since I was, oh, about 12!
I wanted a vintage/antique nursery with personal touches all over.
So I went to my #1 website/waste of time/craft corner, Pinterest.
And I started pinning.
I pinned about a billion ideas and I wanted to share a few that we actually have used!
I was given 3 teacup and saucer sets by a dear friend who is an actress in LA. She's awesome and sent them to me as soon as she found out we were having a girl.
I picked up anything made of milk glass at any antique shop we visited.
Here are a few pics of our "final reveal"!...
This is the French Provincial dresser we bought off of Craigslist. We're going to use 1/2 of the dresser as her changing table.
I made these curtains:
They're hard to see, but I ruffled antique lace. This is our crib skirt. (Which I'm ridiculously in love with!)
I have this amazing antique gold mirror and gold frames up with the muted mint painted wall above our crib:
This is the fabric for my crib sheets.
I painted this antique lamp in ivory (and kept the gold parts, gold. And I set it up in the corner of her nursery.
For now, I'm still über pregnant and will post the FINAL NURSERY photos after everything is complete!
